Eleanor Davin

Eleanor Rose "Ellie" Davin, 91, passed away on January 17,2021 at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born in New York, New York on July 31, 1929 to Joseph and Mary (Pictonic) Mihlik. Ellie worked as a waitress for most of her life, having served customers at The Court Restaurant in Riverhead, New York for many years. She loved to sew, draw and vacation and snorkel in Marathon, Florida with her husband. Surviving are her children, Priscilla "Dee" Ferraro (Don), Tell City and Richard Davin (Lena), East Quogue, NY; grandchildren, Tia Smith, Thompson Station, TN, Tony Ferraro (Emily), Tell City, Richard Davin (Danielle) and Jason Davin (Christina), all of East Quogue, NY; great grandchildren, Briley and Brynna Smith, Lila and Zack Davin, Mia and Nicholas Davin, Grace and Chase Ferraro, Lathen, Ollie and Charlotte; a niece, Suzanne Haines, New York and Peter Tripodi, New York. Ellie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Davin in 2008; grand daughter in law, Stacie Ferraro; great granddaughter, Ella Hope Ferraro and a sister, Marjorie Tripodi. Memorial services will be private. Huber Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
