Edward Frizzell

Tell City, Indiana Edward O. Frizzell, 82, went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2023. He was born in Livermore, Kentucky on November 25, 1940 to Fred and Geneva (Downs) Frizzell. Ed was a United States Army veteran and was proudly named a Kentucky Colonel. He retired from Jenn-Air where he was awarded Salesman of the Year during a company conference in Hawaii. He was a member of Troy United Methodist Church, Buckmaster's and Hoosier Heights Country Club, where he enjoyed mowing grass there after his retirement. Ed also liked hunting and fishing with friends and family. Surviving are his sons, Randy Frizzell (Naomi), Grand Rapids, Michigan and Greg Frizzell (Tina), Tell City; a sister, Jeanene Heldt (Carl), Newburgh; a brother, Allan Frizzell (Barb), Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Eric Frizzell (Trish), Tell City, Jeremy Kempf (Breanna), Tell City, Brad Frizzell (Amy), Jacksonville, Florida and Jenny Bowles (Sam), Murfreesboro, Tennessee and great grandchildren, Gunner, Novaleigh, Makensie, Callie, Luke and Alena. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife of 50 years, Carolyn (Roeder) Frizzell; a sister, Rita McCoy; two brothers, Donald and Freddie Frizzell; and a grandson, John Payne. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Rev. Bill Reid will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00-6:00 PM and Wednesday 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church Teen Group, Tell City.
