Earl Rearden

September 19, 1927 — July 13, 2015

Tell City, Indiana Earl Rearden, 87, passed away July 13, 2015 at Oakwood Health Campus. He was born in Ohio, September 19, 1927 son of the late Earl W. and Anna F. (Algood) Rearden. Also preceding him in death was his wife Etta Myrl (Fulkerson) Rearden in 2014, step-daughter, Linda Klopenstein, sister Sue Beasley and brothers, Malcom, Stanley and Donald Rearden. A U.S. Air Force veteran, Earl was a member of Deer Creek Baptist Church. He moved to Tell City in 1996 after 48 years on his farm in Gatchel. He retired in 1994 from Spencer Plastics. Earl enjoyed bird hunting in his younger years and NASCAR racing #24. Earl is survived by his daughters; Gail Rearden, Cannelton and Linda K. Terry (Ralph), Cannelton; son, Michael Voyles, Tell City; sister, Violet Keown (Norman), Cannelton; 3 grandchildren, Mandy Huff, Kim Dickey and Brandon Rust and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Deer Creek Baptist Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Elmer Shelby will officiate. Visitation will be 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Wednesday and from 8:30 until 9:30 AM Thursday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Deer Creek Baptist Church.
