Earl Lafernier

Cannelton, Indiana - Earl Lafernier, 70, passed away on July 15, 2015. He was born in L'Anse, Michigan, on October 30, 1944. His parents were the late Wilbur and Lois (Stoddard) Lafernier. Also preceding him in death was a sister, Arlene Wessmen and brothers, John and Patrick Lafernier. Earl had worked construction and enjoyed spending time with his dog. He looked forward to fresh produce out of the garden. Surviving are his children, Lori Lafernier, Houghton, Michigan, Earl John Lee, Chicago, Illinois and Robert E. Bolin, Cannelton; sisters, Marcia Wentland, Minnesota, Sybil Lafernier, L'Anse, Michigan, Becky Decker, Margaret Vanover and Georgie Bourdage of Hawesville, Kentucky, Cosie Lafernier, Michigan, Angie Frizball, L'Anse, Michigan and Rosie Landreaux of Louisiana; brothers, Mike Lafernier and Harry Lafernier, of L'Anse, Michigan. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday, July 17, 2015, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Burial will be in Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to his family.
