Dottie Harrison

Dottie Harrison, 66, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Golden Living Center, Lincoln Hills. She was born September 9, 1946 in Breckenridge County, KY daughter of the late Percy and Ella (Critcheloe) Hockenberry. Also preceding her in death was a sister Imogene Elverd and brother Coleman Hockenberry. A homemaker, Dottie enjoyed babysitting, cooking, playing euchre, watching soap operas and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by daughters; Sherry Rose and Christy Harrison; son, Robert Harrison, all of Tell City; twin sister Shirley Harrison, Ferdinand and sister Mary Alice Highfill, Tell City; brothers, William Hockenberry, Hawesville, James Hockenberrry, Westview, KY, and Danny Dale Hockenberry, Locust Hill, KY; 6 grandchildren, Charles, Tyler and Brandon Harrison, Devin Bickett, Trevor Carter, and Dustin Taylor; great granddaughter, Lexi Cronin. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, January 4, 2013 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel with burial in New Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday and from 11:00 AM until service time Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
