Dorothy Pearson

Tell City, Indiana Dorothy L. (Bolin) Pearson, 80, passed away at 5:50 AM Friday, July 4, 2008 at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City. Dorothy was born May 5, 1928 near Deer Creek in Perry County, Indiana daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Anne (Armstrong) Bolin. A 1946 graduate of Cannelton High School, she married James C. Pearson in Tell City in 1960. Dorothy enjoyed gardening. A former employee of Tell City National Bank, she had also worked at Merchants Bank in Terre Haute. Dorothy was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ and Columbia Rebekah Lodge # 314 both in Tell City. She is survived by: Her husband of 48 years, James C. Pearson, Tell City, Indiana Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, July 7, 2008 at Huber Funeral Home, 1139 12th Street Tell City. Rev. Lee Brown will officiate. Burial will be in New Cliff Cemetery at Cannelton. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday and from 9:00 until 11:00 AM Monday at Huber Funeral Home-Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Evangelical United Church of Christ or Columbia Rebekah Lodge # 314.
