Cannelton, Indiana Dorothy Y. Neyenhaus, 84, passed away at 1:05 AM Monday March 19, 2007 at her home in Cannelton. Dorothy was born June 3, 1922 in Tell City, Indiana daughter of the late Chester L. and Edith (Barker) Mosby. She married John Neyenhaus January 7, 1955. John passed away in 1979. Also preceding her in death were two daughters, Peggy Bowman and Edith Ice, two sons, Frank Young and David Neyenhaus, a sister, Leota Long,a grandson, Neil Feemster, and a great grand daughter, Jordan Feemster. Dorothy was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Cannelton and had been a volunteer at a local nursing home for many years. She retired in 1982 from General electric in Tell City after 29 years and had formerly worked at the Indiana Cotton Mill in Cannelton for 10 years. She enjoyed reading, cooking, jigsaw puzzles, and traveling. She is survived by: One step daughter: Jan Schreifer, Irving, Texas One step son: Joe Neyenhaus, Tell City, Indiana Eight grandchildren: Katherine Lawalin, John Feemster, Christina Young, Fred Gray, Velissa Young, Amanda Wagner, David Driskell, and Christopher Driskell 12 great grandchildren One great great granddaughter Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Friday March 23, 2007 at Huber Funeral Home-Cannelton Chapel with burial in New Cliff Cemetery at Cannelton. Pastor Sharon Summers and Pastor Paul Alvey will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Friday at Huber Funeral Home Cannelton Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Cannelton First United Methodist Church or Visiting Nurse Association.
