Dorothy Goffinet

Tell City, Indiana - Dorothy M. Goffinet, 87, passed away on June 30, 2018, at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born in Perry County on August 21, 1930, daughter of the late James and Lena (Eades) Williams. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Hubert Goffinet; daughters, Janice Goffinet and Joanne Herrmann; brothers, Earl and Harold Williams and sister, Cindy Feeback. Dorothy worked at General Electric and later retired from Swiss Plywood. She enjoyed reading, flower gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and their families. Surviving are her children, Brenda Powers and Jim Goffinet; grandchildren, Crystal Powers, Travis Powers, Stacie Henderson, Brianna Powers, Stephanie Henderson, P.J. Goffinet, Mathew Goffinet, Aimee Goffinet and Jennifer Herrmann and fifteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Monday, July 2, 2018, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 6:00 PM on Sunday and from 10:00 AM until service time on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Animal Shelter.
