Tell City, Indiana- Dorothy "Dottie" Faulkner, 86, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born June 17, 1926 in Evansville, daughter of the late William and Emma (Schlegel) Weil. Also preceding her in death were son, Vince Faulkner; daughter, Laurie Faulkner; brothers, William and Lawrence Weil; twin brother, Bobby Weil; sisters, Mary McIntosh, Margaret Miller, Rosemary Greenfield and Betty Weil and a son-in-law, Tony Hahus. Dottie was united in marriage to Albert L. Faulkner September 6, 1952, in Evansville. A homemaker, she was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and K of C Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Albert Faulkner, Tell City; daughters, Susan Doyle (Dave), Fresno, California, Sharon Baer (Jeff), Plainfield, Indiana, Theresa Button (Bobby), Covington, Georgia, and Patty Hahus, Alton, Indiana; sons, Albert "Larry" Faulkner, Jr. (Anna), Evansville and Andrew Faulkner (Sue), Fredericksburg, Virginia; ten grandchildren, Brandy Sitzman, Brian Faulkner, Brad Faulkner, Leonard Hahus, Melissa Hahus, Carri Button, Candi Button, Sammy Button, Tamra Clemens and Amanda Dial; nine great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM (noon) Saturday, November 24, 2012, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Rev. Dennis Duvelius officiating, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday and from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM on Saturday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church or American Heart Association.
