Dorothy Bryant

Dorothy L. (Schroeder) Bryant, 85, passed away on September 7, 2013, after battling cancer since 1985. She was born in Perry County on November 2, 1927. Her parents were the late Robert Ferdinand "Ferd" and Frances Marie (Popp) Schroeder. Dorothy married William Archie "Dink" Bryant on December 21, 1946. He passed away in 1995. She had been employed at Ken-Rad and General Electric where she retired after 23 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and being with her family. Surviving her sisters, Bertha M. Lindauer, Tell City, Roberta J. Krieg (Earl), Tell City and Anna L. Schraner (Linus), Derby; brother, Floyd R. Schroeder (Jean), Cannelton and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Wegenast Cemetery near Rome. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday and from 10:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. Elder Earl Miller will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Rome Cemetery Association or American Cancer Society.
