Dorothy Brotherton

Tell City, Indiana Dorothy Brotherton, 79, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at her son's home in Tennessee. She was born February 6, 1932 in Hardinsburg, Kentucky daughter of the late Ernest and Maggie (Sanders) Tucker. Also preceding her in death were her husbands, Parrish Miller, Alois Wolf and Robert ""Bob"" Brotherton in 2010, sister, Birdie Hess and a granddaughter Stacy Osborne. Dorothy was a home health nurse for the State of South Carolina. She was a member of Cannelton United Methodist Church and enjoyed the QVC shopping network, collecting dolls, going to flea markets and antique stores and her dog Missy. She is survived by daughter, Pam Fuchs, Troy; sons, Ernie Miller, White House, Tennessee, Gary Wolf, Cannelton; step-son, Doug Brotherton, Louisiana; step-daughter, Susan Hamilton, Illinois; sister, Wanda Evans, Tell City; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in New Cliff Cemetery in Cannelton. Pastor Ann Skiba will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday and from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Cannelton United Methodist Church.
