Tell City, Indiana Doris Craig, 75, of Tell City, passed away Sunday January 1, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. Doris was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on November 21, 1930, daughter of the late F.W. Clark and Leta Meadows Clark. Doris was also preceded in death by a sister, Opal Kitchen. She was united in marriage in 1948 in Kentucky to Austin Craig who survives. Doris was employed for several years at KenRad in Owensboro. In later years she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post #2939 and had been active in Tupperware sales for several years. She enjoyed being with family and friends, going to yard sales with her husband and taking care of her dog, Poochie. Doris is survived by her husband of 57 years, Austin, four daughters, Judy Craig, Kay Northerner and Lynn Davis, all of Tell City, Indiana and Elaine Sabelhaus of Herman, Missouri. She has eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM EST Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at Huber Funeral Home, 1139 12th Street, Tell City, with burial in Walker Cemetery, Branchville, Indiana. Pastor Harry McDonald will officiate. Visitation is from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday and 11:00 AM to 1:00PM Wednesday at Huber Funeral Home where the V.F.W. Auxiliary will conduct memorial services at 6:30 PM Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Walker Cemetery.
