Dora Adkins

Cannelton, Indiana Dora Jean Adkins, 74, passed away February 17, 2014, at her home. She was born March 26, 1939, in Troy, daughter of the late Howard and Gertrude (Hicks) Adkins. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Rosalee May and Ada Applegate. Dora had worked at Swiss Plywood and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She is survived by her brother, Ralph Adkins, Cannelton and several nephews and a niece. Funeral services will be noon Thursday, February 20, 2014, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Avery Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM Thursday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Relay for Life.
