Donnie Rudolph

Cannelton, Indiana Donald R. "Donnie" Rudolph, 61, passed away on November 22, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Tell City, Indiana on July 12, 1959, son of the late Charles M. and Mary O. (Taylor) Rudolph. Donnie was a 1978 graduate of Tell City High School. He was united in marriage to the former Barb Maxey on April 11, 1981 at St. Michael Catholic Church. After 19 years of service, Donnie retired in 2016 from Laborer's Union Local 561 and 1392. He enjoyed shooting pool, playing corn hole, euchre and poker, coon hunting, IU basketball, Colts football, Cardinal baseball, riding horses and attending concerts. He was a member of the Southern Indiana Horseman's Club. Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Barb Rudolph, Cannelton; daughters, Mary Beth Lane (Jason), Cannelton and Laura Purcell (Michael), Tell City; grandchildren, Taryn and Braxton Lane, Thea and Clara Purcell; siblings, Bill Rudolph (Dianne), Marilyn Rhodes (Melvin), Melvin Rudolph (Valerie), Charlena Williams (Marty), Loel Rudolph (Patty), Noel Rudolph (Gina), his twin, Diana Lain (Norm), Jackie DuPont and Manette VanWinkle (Danny); several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM CST on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Aseracare Hospice. While visiting the funeral home please know that a mask is to be worn and social distancing is appreciated.
