Donnell Royer

Bristow, Indiana Donnell K. Royer, 66, passed away on June 20, 2020. He was born in Brazil, Indiana on March 15, 1954. Donnell worked for 30 years at Reynolds Metals in Louisville, Kentucky, where Reynolds Wrap is made and was a member of Carpenter's Local Union #175. Donnell and his wife, Teresa, attended St. Augustine Catholic Church, where he loved his church family and was very dedicated to the parish. Donnell enjoyed woodworking, reading and being with his grandchildren. He had recently gotten a sailboat and enjoyed taking it to Patoka Lake. Surviving is his wife, Teresa (Preflatish) Royer, Bristow; children, Jacob Royer (Amanda), Paoli, Abraham, Isaac and Simon Royer, all of Bristow; grandchildren, Aron and Kelly Royer; his mother, Pauline Royer, Brazil; brother, Darrell Royer (Annette), Ashboro; sister, Darla Hayes, Brazil and mother-in-law, Winnie Walker, Corydon, who considered him a son. Preceding him in death were his father, Aron L. Royer and a brother, Darren Royer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM CDT on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Rev. Brian Esarey will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:00-10:30 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Augustine Catholic Church.
