Donna Ramsey

Cannelton, Indiana 

 Donna Fay Ramsey, 79, formerly of Cannelton, passed away surrounded by loved ones on January 12, 2025.

  Donna was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on January 19, 1945. She was just shy of her 80th birthday. 

 Donna worked as a registered nurse at Perry County Memorial Hospital prior to moving to Jeffersonville in 1994. She retired from Norton Hospital in 2017 where she worked as a cardiac nurse and was highly respected in her field. 

 Donna was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Jeffersonville Ward. 

 She enjoyed working at the Temple in Crestwood, Kentucky as she loved her faith and sharing it with others through the gospel of Jesus Christ. The highlights of her life were her children and grandchildren.

 Donna enjoyed traveling and taking her grandkids on many adventures. She was especially fond of beaches and made Fort Walton Beach a yearly destination for nearly 40 years. She loved to walk the beach and add to her seashell collection.

 Donna also enjoyed reading, gardening and her beloved cat, Theo. She had a kind heart and a generous nature and will be missed by many who loved her dearly.

 Surviving are her children, Stefanie Manley (Roger), Stephen Wilson (Paula), Stacey Wolf (Dale), Scott Wilson (Monse) and Vickie Tate (Roger); grandchildren, Danielle Stevens (Jordan), Robert Wirthwein (Jaclyn), Matthew and Brandon Wilson, Caitlin Blanche (Sam), Alexis Ritchie, Avery Jordan, Chris and Valerie Wilson, Callista, Lanna, Riley and Eli Tate; great grandchildren, Axel Suddeth and Naomi Sims.

 Preceding her in death were her parents, James Aull and Vivian (Shepherd) Mullens; twin great granddaughters, Kiai Ren and Lila Mae Blanke and brothers, Jeff, Tim and Rick Rager. 

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time. 

Burial will follow in Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery, Owensboro, KY at 1:00 PM CST.
