Donna Palmertree

Boonville, Indiana - Donna J. (Bowman) Palmertree, 75, formerly of Perry County, passed away on January 28, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh. She was born in Perry County on October 17, 1947 to John J. and Betty Jean (Storm) Bowman. Donna retired from Old National Bank in Evansville and had worked for many years at Citizen's National Bank, formerly in Tell City, where she was also active in the Lion's Club. She was a member of Rehoboth Pentecostal Church in Owensboro, Kentucky and a former member of Strawberry Ridge Ladies Auxiliary in Valrico, Florida. Donna enjoyed crocheting, making crafts (especially ceramics and florals) and followed Pinterest for her project ideas. She also loved to shop on Home Shopping Network. Surviving is her husband, Noel Palmertree, Boonville; children, Dawn Jewell (Curtis), Sullivan, Amy Lumpkins (Freddie), Boonville, Jayson Sandage (Samantha), Stendal, Rickie Palmertree (Gina), Manor, TX and Lee Palmertree (Brenda), Carrollton, MS; grandchildren, Drew Snyder (Savannah), Kyle Snyder (Daylen Trimble), Jake Palmertree, Amber Greggs (Richard) and Elizabeth Palmertree; great grandchildren, Camdyn and Wadye Snyder and Ben and Gracie Snyder; sister, Pam (Bowman) Smyth (Jim), Tell City; nieces and nephews, John Mark Newton (Audrey), Brad Newton (Brandy) and Stephanie Newton (Blake Kennedy) and a great nephew, Bryce Newton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM CST on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with Pastor Robert Alvey officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Tell City. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
