Donna Meredith

Donna Meredith, age 58, born in Tell City, IN, passed away on 5/16/2017 at 5:07 p.m. in her daughter's arms. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, loved helping family and friends, and spoiling all the children in the family, gaining the nickname Aunt Donna. Growing up, her siblings always referred to her as Louly or Jim. She loved traveling, road trips and seeing the world. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time outdoors with friends. Her most cherished role in life was being a grandmother. She is survived by her 2 daughters Karen Sturgeon and Janet Meredith, their father and her former spouse David Meredith, her 4 grandchildren Sebastian Sturgeon, Savannah Sturgeon, Devin Dennison, and Damian Dennison, her longtime companion and friend Ron Beuchlein, and her siblings Shannon Thomas, Michael Applegate, Stephanie Thompson, Marcella Sommer, and Kelly Claxton. Preceding her in death are her parents Blead Edward Applegate and Sylvia June Applegate (Elverd) and her brother Mark Applegate. A memorial service performed by John McMullin, for friends and family will be held at Huber Funeral home in Tell City, IN on May 21, 2017 at 5 p.m. with visitation from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations for her grandchildren can be made at Old National Bank in Tell City, IN.
