Donald Goffinet

Tell City, Indiana

Donald R. "Don" Goffinet, 81, passed away on August 6, 2023 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.

He was born in Tell City on November 22, 1941 to the late Herman and Georgia Alberta "Birtie" (Howell) Goffinet.

Don was a United States Navy veteran. He retired from Verizon where he was a supervisor.
Don enjoyed fishing, boating and tinkering, as he was always very handy around the house. Most of all, Don loved spending time with his grandsons and supporting them with all they were involved in.

Surviving is his wife of 53 years, Pamela J. (Clark) Goffinet, Tell City; children, Jason Goffinet (Tacha) and Nikki Goffinet, all of Tell City; three grandsons, Zachary and Cody Goffinet and Blake Snyder and a sister, Brenda Reed (Mitch), Tell City.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Kenny Goffinet.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CDT on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in Lilly Dale Cemetery where the American Legion Post #213 will provide military rites.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
