Tell City, Indiana - Dilver J. Knigga, 83, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Oakwood Health Campus. He was born near Dillsboro, Indiana, on April 29, 1932, son of the late Charles and Bertha (Rump) Knigga. He was married to Eileen Bodenberg on August 20, 1960. Mr. Knigga was a 1950 graduate of Vevay High School. He had formerly worked as the office manager for the Ripley County Farm Bureau Co-op in Osgood. He also was employed for several years as a sales representative for the Thomas D. Murphy Company of Red Oak, Iowa selling promotional items to businesses. Dilver was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Olean. Survivors include his wife, Eileen Knigga; daughters Connie (Tom) Holm of Tell City, Becky Leedy, Scottsburg, and Amy (Ray) Burton, Osgood; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one sister Esther (Leon) Berner of Cross Plains. Private family services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery at Olean. Memorials may be given to the St. Paul Lutheran Church or St. Peters Cemetery. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, handled local arrangements.
