Derby, Indiana Diane L. (Riley) James, 51, passed away Wednesday March 2, 2011, at her home. She was born March 2, 1960, in Tell City daughter of the late Frank Sabelhaus Sr. and Linda (Amos) Ball who survives. Also preceding her in death was a son in infancy, Shaun Riley and grandparents Walter ""Boob"" and Hazel Amos and Francis and Viola Sabelhaus. She was a nurse's aide at Golden Living Center Lincoln Hills for 29 years. Diane enjoyed horses, flower gardening, yard work and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Jeff James; mother and step father Linda and William Ball, Tell City; daughters, Christy Huff (David Lutgring), Tell City and Megan Owen (Donnie), Tell City, Brittney James, Tell City; son, Mark Riley (Tiffany), Tell City; sisters, Kathy Sabelhaus (Mark Ramsey), Tobinsport, Robin Ambs (Rick), Cannelton, Laura Huebschman (Nathan), Lamar; brothers, Frank Sabelhaus (Darlene), Tell City, Richard Sabelhaus, Cato, IN, Dewayne Sabelhaus (Paula Cooper), Leopold, Steve Sabelhaus (Carla), Hawesville; grandchildren, Bailey and Tayler Huff, Kylee Owen, Zoey and Trevor Sturgeon, Cami, Gabby and Jace Riley. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, March 4, 2011 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Carly Stucklen-Sather will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday and from 9:00 AM until service time at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Indiana Horse Rescue South.
