Derrick Sandage

Cannelton, Indiana Derrick S. Sandage, 20, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012. He was born in Perry County on March 2, 1992, son of Steve and Diana (Crossley) Sandage. Derrick was preceded in death by his sister, Brandy Tanner, grandparents, John and Bernita Crossley and Ernest and Ruth Sandage. He was a 2010 graduate of Cannelton High School, and had worked at Holiday World, Wendy's, Accent and was currently working in customer service at Walmart. Derrick was a graduate of Power of Youth of Perry County and was active in Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Derrick enjoyed four wheeler riding, spending time with family and friends, and riding around town. He is survived by his parents, Steve and Diana Sandage; brother, Darin; sister, Melissa Tanner; nephews, Jacob Kennedy and Alexzander Gieseke; niece, Bryleigh Gieseke and friend, Hannah Helm. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday and from 9:00 until 10:00 AM Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
