Denny Kellems, Sr.

Tell City, Indiana Denny J. Kellems, Sr., 59, passed away March 5, 2020. He was born in Tell City, Indiana on December 8, 1960 to the late James W. and Lillie May (Beard) Kellems. Also preceding him in death was a son, Denny Kellems, Jr. and brothers, Jim, Russell and Elmer Kellems. Denny was united in marriage in Tell City on March 19, 1993 to Beverly Beeler. He had worked at the former Klem Cabinet in St. Anthony. Denny enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing with his family, tinkering in his garage, rebuilding motorcycles and scooters, his dogs, Shiva and Dolly and spending time with his family, especially his grandbabies. Surviving is his wife of 27 years, Beverly Kellems, Tell City; his children, Melinda Wedding (Jesse), Tell City, Wednesday Martin (Larry), English, Josh Kellems (Ashley), Boonville, Michelle Petroshus, Tell City, Jessica Tindall (Michael), Boonville, Kathy Kellems, Tell City and Lillie Emerson (Bobby), Tell City; sisters, Patricia Ball, Grandview, Mary Taylor, Nebraska, Peggy Harrison, Michigan, Janice Sturgeon, Violet Kleaving and Charlene Kellems, all of Tell City; brothers, Omer Kellems, Rick Kellems and David Kellems, all of Newtonville and 23 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM CDT on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with Billy Lain officiating. Burial will follow in Lilly Dale Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
