Debbie Poehlein

Tell City, Indiana Debbie Poehlein, 63, passed away September 16, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. She was born in Evansville April 30, 1955 to the late Earl and Betty (Redd) Phelps. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jessie Graham. Debbie was a graduate of Central High School. She was united in marriage on April 5, 1999 to Mark Poehlein who survives. Debbie enjoyed fishing, going to French Lick and relaxing in her hot tub. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and the company of her cats and dogs. Surviving is her husband, Mark Poehlein, Tell City; her children, Amy Osborne (Mike), Tell City, Ashley Poehlein (friend, Justin), Owensboro, KY, Emily Kessens (Ryan), Madison, WI, and Mark Stephen Poehlein (Sarah), Tell City; a sister, Brenda Foster (Wayne), LaPorte, IN; a brother, Bobby Phelps (Deanna), Evansville; six grandchildren, Cody and Austin Wiseman, Alex Walters, Dusty Daniels, Kadence and Klaire Poehlein and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CDT Friday, September 21, 2018 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in Log Church Cemetery near Cannelton. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00-7:00 PM and Friday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
