Rome, Indiana -
Debbie Baize, 64, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
She was born on October 13, 1960, in Cleveland, OH, to Frank M. and Janice J. (Papesh) Adamic. She was a 1976 graduate of Daviess County High School in Owensboro, Kentucky and was a 1980 graduate of Owensboro Junior College of Business.
Debbie married Dickie Baize on November 14, 1986, in Wyoming. She was a homemaker and was a proud resident of Rome where she was surrounded by nature. Before her diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, she worked as a final inspector at Tell City Chair Company, but she was most proud of her title of “Biscuit Master” at Hardee’s.
Debbie was very outgoing, had a kind personality and would do anything for others, especially if it made them smile. She loved sewing, flower and vegetable gardening, second only to her love of family.
She is survived by her husband, Dickie Baize; children, Jason (Amy Burkes) Baize, Theresa Wavle (Dan), David Baize (April), and Shelley Wilson (Robert); several grandchildren great-grandchildren; her mother Janice Yanusaitis (Richard); her brothers, John (Kisha), Frank, Kip, Brian, Denny, and Kelley along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her “bff” Laura Flamion (Denny) was a big part of her life as well.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank M. Adamic, and daughter, Misty Baize.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM CST on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time.
