Deanna Odell

Tell City, Indiana Deanna L. Odell, 76, passed away Monday, October 27, 2014 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born September 18, 1938 in Elkader, Iowa, daughter of the late Lesley and Annice (Radloff) Halverson. Also preceding her in death was her husband Leonard Odell in 1994, and a sister, Luella Boland. Before moving to Tell City to be near her daughter, Deanna had been an Avon representative. After residing in Tell City, Deanna had worked at Walmart as a greeter, enjoyed reading, her pets and was a former member of Red Hat Ladies Society. She is survived by her daughter; Annette Kimball, Tell City; sons, Dave Odell, Marion, Iowa, and Pat Odell, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Tim Odell, Greeley, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Megan Lantz, Molly Augustine, Sarah Leonard, Danny Odell, Mackenzie Odell, Corey Kimball and Andrew Kimball and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM on Friday, October 31, 2014, at the Greeley United Methodist Church in Greeley, Iowa, with burial following in the church cemetery. Huber Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Animal Shelter or Deaconess VNA Hospice.
