St. Croix, Indiana David L. Weedman, 62, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at his home. He was born August 20, 1954 in Perry County. A 1972 graduate of Cannelton High School, David was the owner of Weedman's Trash Service and former owner of Weedman's Auto Body. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Surviving are his wife, Debbie (Harlen) Weedman, St. Criox; his mother, Nelda (Dunn) Gray, Tell City; two children, Billy Weedman, Tell City and Amy Dahlke, Independence, MI; two step children, Tommy James, Cannelton and Shannon Ambrose, St. Croix; a brother, Charles Gray, Hawesville; sisters, Lola Stock, Evansville, Donna Anderson, Indianapolis and Barbara Dauby, Tell City; step sisters, Mary Noble, Rose Parker, Melissa Stinogel, all of Tell City, Theresa Gronquist, Cannelton and Rachel Brown, Hawesville; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his father, Jake Hugh Weedman and step brother, Jake Weedman. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 3:00-7:00 PM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. The family will be planting a memorial flower garden in David's memory. They would appreciate you bringing packets of seed to plant as a remembrance of him and his love of flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
