David Underwood

Tell City, Indiana He was a graduate of Maplewood Richmond Heights High School and attended Meremac Community College, then served as a medic in the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he was a Purple Heart recipient. He retired from the Federal Protection Service in St. Louis, Missouri. While living in Tell City, he attended St. Paul Catholic Church and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. David is survived by his son, Jason Underwood, St. Louis, Missouri; sisters, Sharron Underwood, Apex, North Carolina and Janet (Wayne) Kieser, Tell City, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Beverly Ann (Brawley) Underwood in 2010. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. Huber Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church or to your favorite charity.
