David Richard

Tell City, Indiana David I. Richard, 70, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Arbor Hospice, Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was born June 14, 1943 in Evansville, Indiana, son of the late Irvin and Martha (Fuquay) Richard. Also preceding him in death was his wife Barbara (Gray) Richard in 1977. After graduating from Tell City in 1961, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. He enjoyed reading , astronomy and his dogs. David was a bookstore manager for Nebraska Book Company for 20 years retiring in 2006. David is survived by two cousins, Barbara Spear and Dick White, both of Tell City and a friend and care giver, Kerrin Mabrey, Ann Arbor, Michigan. A memorial service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Animal Shelter or Perry County Humane Society.
