David Nugent

David Allen Nugent, 79, of Evansville, passed away on March 15, 2022 at Columbia Healthcare. He was born in Lewisport, Kentucky on November 1, 1942 to Gus and Betty (White) Nugent. David served with the Indiana National Guard where he assisted at the crash site of the ill-fated Lockheed Electra on March 17, 1960 near Millstone, Indiana. David was self-employed handyman and worked at the Gerst House for several years. He is survived by a sister, Omia Linne, Tell City and nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters and their spouses, Joann Nugent, Dorothy Leaf (Duane), Carrie Mandelt, Ida Hennsey (Edwin) and Joyce Mitchell (Vernon); and brother-in-law, Maurice Linne. Funeral services will be private at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
