Darrel Allen

Tell City, Indiana Darrel Allen, 82, passed away Monday, February 2, 2015 at NHC Healthcare in Hendersonville, Tennessee. He was born in Hancock County, April 24, 1932, son of the late William and Allie M. (Nix) Allen. Also preceding him in death were his brothers, Ray, Eddie, Terry, and Bobby Allen, sisters, Sharon Kieser, Judy Zuelly and Freda Lawrence. Darrel was a U.S. Army veteran and worked at McDonald Douglas . He is survived by his wife of 55 years Frances (Robbins) Allen, Hendersonville, Tennessee; daughter, Joann Walker (Hugh), Hendersonville, Tennessee; sisters, Janie Flamion, St. Croix and Virginia Hosler, Tell City; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchild. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 6, 2015 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Friday.
