Tell City, Indiana Charles Daniel "Danny" Kellems, 60, passed away on February 19, 2023. He was born in Tell City on September 12, 1962 to Charles Hobart "Hobie" and Wanda L. (Weedman) Kellems. Danny attended Hoosier Heights Grade School and Tell City High School. He was united in marriage on May 29, 1982, in Tell City, to Carol Jean Dutschke. He had worked at Stewart Warner, Schwab Safe and Tell City Chair Company. He was most proud of his construction work in Nashville. Danny had a passion for customizing cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed deer hunting and was an award-winning artist from his school days. Surviving is his wife, Carol Kellems, Tell City; sons, Tyler Kellems (Lindsey Sokol), Warren, OH and Jeremy Kellems, Tell City; a granddaughter, Alessandra Sokol- Kellems; his mother, Wanda L. Kellems, Tell City; a sister, Dodie Briggs, Evansville and a brother, Dean Kellems, Ferdinand. You may visit with the family on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 3:00-7:00 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Private burial will be in New Cliff Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Troy Volunteer Fire Department.
