Danny Glenn

Tell City, IN Danny Joe Glenn, 65, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at I.U. Health in Indianapolis. He was born in Tell City, IN on November 25, 1951, son of the late Harold and Gertrude (Shadwick) Glenn. Danny Joe retired from Boilermakers Local #374 and had also worked at Maxon and Jasper Plastics. In his younger years, Danny Joe was a drummer for "The Midnighters", a former band that played in Perry County. An avid sports fan, Danny Joe enjoyed NASCAR, Colts football, Indiana Hoosier basketball and the Cincinnati Reds baseball. Surviving are his children, Lisa Briones (Eduardo) and Jeff Glenn, all of Tell City; brothers, Harold Lee Glenn (Kathy) and John David Glenn, all of Cannelton; grandchildren, Erik and Elyssa Briones; and a friend, Alice Cassidy, Tell City. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM CST on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City. Burial will follow in New Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00-7:00PM and Friday 9:00-11:00AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
