Daniel White

Tell City, Indiana - Daniel B. ""Danny"" White, 53, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2011, at his home. He was born in Park Falls, Wisconsin, on April 13, 1958. His parents were the late Grant White and Beverly (Roberts) McMahon. Also preceding him in death was a sister, Valerie Parker. Danny attended Clay Huff Elementary School and Heritage Hills High School. He had worked at Whirlpool, Tell City Chair Company and Jasper Cabinet. A former member of the Indiana National Guard, he attended Bethel Baptist Church and enjoyed writing poetry, fishing, playing euchre and singing. Surviving are his daughters, Mandy Lain, Tell City and April Bailey, Tell City; son, Chris White, Tell City; sisters, Charlene Crossley, Cannelton, Melody White Miller, Gatchel, Shelly Trammell, Bristow, Tracy Parker-Pearson, Mount Vernon, Lula Parker, Chandler and Bobbie Oldham, Mount Vernon; brother, Clayton White, Tell City; 10 grandchildren and a step father who raised him, R.O. Parker, Cannelton. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with Brother Ron Ammons officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until service time on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
