Daniel Quick

Tell City, Indiana Daniel R. "Dan" Quick, 50, passed away September 5, 2019, at the home of his mother, surrounded by his family. He was born in Tell City on October 19,1968 son of Shirley (Sternberg) Quick and the late Jerome "Jerry" Quick. Also preceding him in death were his grandparents, Oscar and Viola Sternberg and Clarence and Burnis Quick. Dan was a 1987 graduate of Tell City High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had worked for the Department of the Navy, retiring in 2019. Dan was united in marriage on August 31, 2014 to Rena Fozzard. He enjoyed golfing, playing poker and watching football. Surviving is his wife, Rena Quick, Virginia Beach, VA; his daughter, Mia Rae Quick, Phoenix, AZ; his mother, Shirley Quick, Tell City; brothers, Gary W. Quick (Cherie), Louisville, KY and Thomas "Tom" Quick (Amy), Elberfeld and a niece and six nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM CDT on Monday, September 9, 2019 at St. Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery with military rites. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00-6:00 PM and Monday 8:00-9:15 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made in the form of masses to St. Paul Catholic Church or Good Shepherd Catholic Parish, Evansville.
