Hawesville, Kentucky Glen "Dale" Embry, 68, passed away February 8, 2020 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Alton, Illinois on May 30,1951 to the late Betty Jean (Smith) and John Glen Embry. Also preceding him in death was a brother, Donnie Embry and grandson, Samuel Rae Scott and infant twin grandchildren. Dale was united in marriage on March 20, 1981 to Linda Hinton. He retired as a supervisor from Southwire Rod and Cable, where he had worked since 1972. Dale was a member of Central Baptist Church in Hawesville and he enjoyed, playing golf, fishing, camping, bowling, woodworking and UK Basketball. Surviving is his wife, of almost 39 years, Linda Embry, Hawesville; his children, twins, Jeremy Scott (Tasha), Hawesville, Josh Scott (Kristi), Tell City, IN, Mindy Howard (Brian), Hawesville and April Embry (Alex Kaprian), Bowling Green; sisters, Jackie Odum (Mike), Savannah, GA, Darlene Parker (Ronnie), Lewisport, Susie Blake (Lee), Lewisport and Sharon Embry, Jasper, IN; brothers, Mike Embry (Luanne), Hawesville, Steve Embry, Lewisport, Mark Embry, Hawesville and John Embry; grandchildren, Rachael Scott, Hannah Partridge (Benjamin), Benjamin, Daniel, Lydia and Joel Scott, Andrew, Lucas and Clary Howard, Vanessa and Isabella Kaprian. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM CST on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Brother Brian Adkins will officiate. Burial will follow in Deer Creek Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Deer Creek Church Cemetery Fund.
