Craig Lassaline, 83, passed away on November 26, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. He was born in Centralia, Illinois on June 14, 1939 to Carl and Ila (Bible) Lassaline. Craig was a 1959 graduate of Bosse High School and attended the University of Evansville. He was united in marriage on March 25, 1961 to Margaret (Erk). They were married for 59 years until her passing in 2020. He retired as engineering manager from Parker Hannifan where he worked for over 40 years. Craig was a devoted husband and father who always put his family first. When his children were young, he coached several of their sports and he never missed a game. A history buff, Craig specifically enjoyed learning about WWII. He hunted in his earlier years, liked working on his computer and loved the ocean, where he would take family vacations yearly for more than 22 years. Surviving are his children, Kirk Lassaline (Sherry), Hawesville, KY, Erik Lassaline (Mendy) and Yvette Lassaline, all of Tell City; grandchildren, Ariel Payne (David), Seth Ward, Haley Kaufman (Scott), Cayman, Quenton and Lachlan Russell and great grandchildren, Kensley and Knox Kaufman and Olivia Payne. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Margaret Lassaline and a brother, Gregory Lassaline. Funeral services will be private at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Entombment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
