Cora Seyfried

Troy, Indiana Cora Seyfried, 88, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born in Cloverport, Kentucky on May 24, 1929 to the late Jess and Elizabeth (Wardrip) Allen. Also preceding her in death was her first husband, Alvin Sago; daughter, Shirley Weedman, sisters, Dorothy Nelson and Janie Stewart; and a brother, James Allen. Cora was united in marriage on April 8, 1992 to Albert Seyfried. She retired in 1990 as a nursing assistant. She enjoyed listening to music. Surviving is her husband, Albert Seyfried, Troy; son, Sherman Sanders, Tell City; sister, Edna Dowell, Cloverport; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CST Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in Troy Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
