Connie East

Tell City, Indiana - Connie J. East, 65, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011 at her home. She was born in Lamar, Indiana October 6, 1946 daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy (Hendricks) Conner. Also preceding her in death was a step-son, Robert East and brother, Allen Conner. Connie retired from Perry County Purdue Extension Office where she was a secretary. She enjoyed playing farmville on Facebook, crocheting, crafting with buttons, going out to eat with friends and spending time with her dogs, Sissy and Baby. She is survived by her husband Earl East, Tell City; daughters, Jen McKim, Louisville, Melinda McKim Davis, Tell City, Melissa Sue Conner, Tell City; sons, Nick Conner, Troy, Jeff McKim, Louisville; step-son, John East, English; step-daughter, Victoria Lindsey, Hawesville; sisters, Bettye Volgeman, Tell City and Judy Ramsey, Troy; brother, Larry Conner, Evansville; 16 grandchildren, Heather and Ryan Witt, Christina Basham, Samantha Harumal, Brittney Brumfield, Ashley Bryant, Erin and Dylan Schneider, Colten Skirvin, John Lindsey, Shae, Ebone, Gabriel and Gavin East, Cheyenne Lindsey and Ronan Kennedy and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Pastor Harry McDonald will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until service time on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Perry County Animal Shelter.
