Clydena King

Cannelton, Indiana Clydena King, 83, passed away Wednesday April 6, 2011 at her home in Shelbyville, Indiana. She was born January 19, 1928 in Evansville daughter of the late Arbie and Dolly Mae (Dowell) Roy. She was also preceded in death by a brother Henry Roy; a sister Martha Lee Butcher; twins in infancy, Garry and Larry Fuchs. Clydena retired as a cook for Holiday Inn in Shelbyville after 25 years. She enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing, playing her guitar, singing, crafts and loved to shop. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bill King, Shelbyville; her children, Carol Clayton, Ohio, Clifford Arnold (Becky), Florida, Doris Kellems, Shelbyville, Junior Fuchs (Sue), Tell City, Doug Fuchs, Tell City, Tommy King (Christine Case), Shelbyville; 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including Tommy Coons and Jerry Perry for whom she cared for. A special thank you to Deannette Pryor, Jill Case, Lori Rogers, Nancy Kimmel, Mariah Wood and Christine Case for the help and love you've shown our wife and mother. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, April, 8, 2011, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday evening. Bro. Lewis C. Garrett will officiate. Memorials may be made to Perry County Animal Shelter.
