Cletus Pund

Tell City, Indiana Cletus J. Pund, 83, passed away February 9, 2017, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana. He was born in Ranger, Indiana on August 21, 1933, to the late Fidel and Hettie (Rhodes) Pund. Also preceding him in death are brothers, Bill Pund and James Pund, in infancy and a sister, Vickie Pund. Cletus was united in marriage to the former Patsy Albin on November 5, 1955 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was retired from Union Local 90 where he worked in construction. A Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, Cletus was a member of VFW Post 2939 and American Legion Post 124 in Ferdinand. Cletus enjoyed traveling, fishing and gardening. Surviving are his wife, Pat Pund; sisters, Rose Riddle, Dorothy Pund, Joyce Holman, Mary Blunk and Linda Peter; brothers, Joe Pund (Brenda), Paul Pund (Judy) and Jerry Pund and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM CST on Monday, February 13, 2017, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery with military rites. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00-7:00 PM and Monday 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
