Tell City, Indiana - Clarence L. Pannett. Jr., passed away on June 23, 2023, his 80th birthday. He was born in 1943, the oldest son of Clarence Pannett, Sr. and Alice (Fuchs) Pannett. Clarence was the proud owner of Vincent's Market in Cannelton for several years. He was known by many for his love of racehorses and had owned and trained numerous horses throughout his years on the racing circuit with "Miss Tobinsport" being his most productive horse. He was able to study his racing forms and place bets until his final days. Clarence is survived by his children, Craig Pannett (Victoria) of Farmington, MO, Todd Pannett (Dana) of Chesterfield, MO, and Niki Pannett Fryou (Mark) of Morgan City, LA; grandchildren, Alexandria Pannett, Jordan Pannett, Molly Taylor (James), Sam Pannett, Brady Fryou (Taylor) and and Rhett Fryou (Emily) and a great-grandson, Bowen Michael Fryou and brothers, Ronnie Pannett and Bob Pannett, both of Tell City. In addition to his children, he had a "bonus" daughter Brandi Sanders and her sons, Grant and Luke Sanders also of Tell City. He was preceded in death by his parents and the mother of his children, Kay Seibert. Special thanks to Qualicare , especially caregivers Dustin and Willow, and AseraCare Hospice. Special thanks to Robin, Jill, Jordan and Michael for always going above and beyond for Clarence and to his friends, especially Rhonda, Vikki and Tommy; your friendship meant the world to him. Clarence's children are honoring his wishes by celebrating his life later.
