Clara Jarboe

Tell City, Indiana - Clara Ann Jarboe, 80, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at the home of her daughter in Bedford, Virginia. She was born Leopold, Indiana, on May 27, 1928. Her parents were the late George and Edna (Collignon) Goffinet. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Hilmer ""Ula"" Jarboe, Sr., a brother and sisters. Clara Ann retired after serving as Perry County Recorder. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting afghans. While living in Perry County, she traveled around the county playing cards with her many friends. She is survived by: Daughter - Mary Ann Harvey Son - Hilmer Ula ""Bud"" Jarboe, Jr. Sister - Jean Connett 5 Grandchildren 5 Great Grandchildren Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Lilly Dale Cemetery in Gatchel. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM (Noon) until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Rev. Timothy Sweeney, OSB, will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church.
