Tell City, Indiana - Clara Mae Hall, 86, passed away on January 5, 2013, at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born in Empire, Ohio, on September 8, 1926. Her parents were the late Clarence and Ona (Barker) King. Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Evelyn Sodrel and Betty Davis; brothers, Clarence "Bud" King and Don King and three brothers and sisters in infancy. Clara Mae married William "Bill" Hall, Sr., on July 13, 1946, in Owensboro, Kentucky. He preceded her in death. She retired from the U.S. Forestry Service where she worked in maintenance and she sold Avon for over 35 years. She attended Bethel Christian Church in Doolittle Mills and enjoyed flower gardening, dancing and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her daughter, Vicki Hall, Paoli; sons, William A. "Bill" Hall, Jr. (Susan), Newburgh and Denny Hall, Sr. (Kimberly), Tell City; grandchildren, Christopher William Hall, Jamie Hall, Dennis Hall, Jr., Derek Hall and Lacey Kilbarger; great grandchildren, Brooklyn Mae Hall, Reese William Hall, Olivia Hall, Blake Hall, Annabelle Kilbarger and Dylan Hall and a brother, Andy King, Tell City. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Old Chapel Cemetery near Mount Pleasant. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Monday and from 11:00 AM until service time on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Christian Church.
