Clara Glenn

Cannelton, Indiana Clara A. Glenn, 95, passed away on January 8, 2015, at the home of her granddaughter in Santa Claus, Indiana. She was born in Pike County, Indiana, October 17, 1920, daughter of the late Willis and Clara (Litherland) Bolin. Also preceding her in death was her husband William "Pooner" Glenn; brothers, James, Roscoe and Virgil Bolin and Otis Henry and William Bolin in infancy; sisters, Elizabeth Snyder, Susie Thomas, Amy Simpson, Virginia George and Aileen Bolin in infancy. Clara retired in 1986 from Woodcrafters, after 35 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cannelton and enjoyed dancing, playing bingo, and was a babysitter most of her life. She is survived by her sons; Gary Glenn (Etta Jean), Evanston, Greg Glenn (Pat), Troy; daughter, June Schank (Paul), Magnet; ten grandchildren, Stephanie Northerner, Eric Reynolds, Toni Kraus, Vicki Sommer (Carl), Terri Pederson, Darin Zogopoulos (Lynn), Brittney Filley (Cory), Brandi Glenn, Brett Glenn and Bob Glenn (Anna); several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in New Cliff Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Monday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Tuesday. Pastor Ann Skiba and Sheila Rearden will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church in Cannelton.
