Cindy York

Tell City, Indiana Cindy Dillahay York, 58, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in Indianapolis, where she lived. She was born September 21, 1955 in Indianapolis, daughter of William and Doris (Council) McLain. Her mother preceded her in death. She had worked for Roche Diagnostics, was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, and enjoyed crocheting, drawing, baking and her pets. Cindy is survived by her husband, Steven York, Indianapolis; son; Benjamin Dillahay, Indianapolis; sisters, M'Lissa Morgan (Jack), Indian Rocks Beach, FL, Janis Ward, Pinellas Park, FL, and Amy Weber, Clearwater, FL; brothers, Michael McLain (Pam), NC, Jimmy McLain (Wanda), Jacksonville, FL and Christopher McLain (Melissa), Largo, FL; aunt Patty Hampton (Jim), Dyersburg, TN; uncles, Ted Council, Fulton, KY and Ron McLain, Bedford, IN; 10 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, June 20, 2014 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Pastor Paul Alvey will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday and from 9:00 AM until service time Friday.
