Charlie Pierrard

Tell City, Indiana Charles A. "Charlie" Pierrard, 60, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2014 at his home. He was born in Perry County June 28, 1954, son of the late Donald J. "Joe" Pierrard and Jean (Stephens) Pierrard, who survives him. Charlie was also preceded in death by a niece, Hannah Hudson and nephew Donald "Fred" Merritt. A U.S. Army veteran, Charlie had worked at Wroe Pallett. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and being outdoors. Charlie is survived by his mother; Jean Pierrard, Tell City; daughters, Lori Brown, Elberfeld, Megan Dauby, Tell City and Shayla Pierrard, Owensboro; son, Trevor Pierrard, Owensboro; sisters, Peggy Foster, Tell City, Jackie Hudson, Chrisney and Carol Ann "Annie" Morgan, Evanston ; brothers, Tim Schraner, Tell City, Marvin Pierrard, Cannelton, Keith Pierrard, Cannelton and Jeff Pierrard, Tell City; five grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 8, 2014 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, where there will be military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post #2939. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM Wednesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
