Cannelton, Indiana - Charles M. Rudolph, 82, passed away April 5, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, Kentucky. Charlie was born in Perry County, Indiana on February 16, 1935, son of the late Martin Rudolph and Mary (Pyle) Middleton. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ollie (Taylor) Rudolph in 2012, a sister, Margaret Rudolph, brothers, Ben and Don Rudolph and a grandson-in-law, Matt Moore. Charlie was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. and retired from Alcoa where he was a machinist. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, William Tell Senior Citizens, Troy Senior Citizens and Harry G. Myers American Legion Post 142. He enjoyed playing euchre, poker and bingo. Charlie loved to visit with people and socialize. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at St. Michael Catholic Church. Rev. Barnabas Gillespie, O.S.B. and Rev. Sengole Thomas G. will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, with military rites. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00-7:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:30-9:30 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. There will be a rosary at 7:00 PM on Friday evening. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Cemetery or Hospice of Western Kentucky.
