Charles James

Cannelton, Indiana Charles W. ""Charlie"" James, 51, passed away Friday, August 28, 2009 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. He was born September 24, 1957, in Perry County, son of Charles E. and Margaret (Harrison) James. Charlie was preceded in death by his mother and a brother in infancy. Charlie enjoyed working on cars, traveling, playing cards and spending time with his family, friends and his dogs. Survivors are: Father, Charles E. James, Troy, Indiana Daughter, Mindy Baumeister, Tell City, Indiana Companion, Karen Kellems, Cannelton, Indiana Sister, Faye Schneider, Huntingburg, Indiana Brother, Darren James, Troy, Indiana Step-Brother, Jerry Hinton, Tennessee 3 grandchildren, Michael and Hannah Miller and Dakota Baumeister Funeral services will be on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in Derby Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Animal Shelter.
