Charles Huff

Tell City, Indiana - Charles Huff, 63, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2013, at his home. He was born in Tell City on August 20, 1949. His parents were the late George and Nelie (Burden) Huff. Also preceding him in death was a sister, Patricia Brown and a brother, Robert Huff. A 1968 graduate of Tell City High School, Charles served his country, from 1969-1973, in the United States Air Force. He was stationed in the Phillipines. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2939 and Evangelical United Church of Christ. Surviving are his children, Becky Sue Young (Jeff Maysey),Owensboro and Jeffery A. Huff (Amanda), Tell City; mother of his children, Darlene Hinton, Cannelton; sisters, Beverly Hosler(Darrel), Cathy McCallister (John) and Angie Harding (Michael), all of Tell City; brothers, George Alvin Huff (Carolyn), Evansville and Bill Huff (Nadean), of Tell City; grandchildren, Madison, Jonothan , Emma and Jeniffer Huff and Deveron, Daelyn, and Donavon Mason. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, where there will be military graveside rites. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 PM on Monday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
